S & S Rhind Builders was established in Brisbane in 1983 and moved its operation to Hervey Bay in the Fraser Coast region of Queensland in 1987.

In 2007 the S&S Rhind business was acquired by the owners of Seashift Properties and the business name was changed to Rhind Constructions in early 2008.

Since its establishment the Rhind Constructions team has focused on achieving excellence and over a 20 year period it became recognised as a multi award winning business in development and construction within the Wide Bay Region, and over the wider Central Queensland and Sunshine Coast regions.

Whilst continuing to operate as a independent business by linking Rhind with Seashift the Construction business was able to work as part of integrated supply of land and building services which included Property Development, Asset Management, Construction Services, Body Corporate Management, as well as Property Sales and real estate leasing and tenant services.

Major projects during the 2000-2010 period included

·  the Fraser Coast Airport project including runway extension , new terminal, commercial precinct and car parking facilities.

·  Hervey Bay Airport Industrial Park, a 48ha Commercial & Industrial precinct. All civil works and the construction of five signature buildings.

·  Channel Seven and Metaland Buildings, in Boat Harbour Drive, Pialba.

·  Several office and retail properties in Main Street, Hervey Bay.

In 2010 as part of a division of Seashift investments between the two main partners Rhind Construction departed the Seashift Group of companies. Today it continues to operate successfully as Win Constructions Queensland (WCQ).
